Virginia Ella Kranz (nee Birk) age 86 years of Jackson, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital Froedtert and Community Health of West Bend.

Virginia was born on June 26, 1922 to Roy and Olivia (nee Luedtke) in Mayville.  She married the late Eugene E. Kranz on December 30, 1942.  Virginia had a beauty shop in her home for many years.  Her passion was her faith, children, grand and great grandchildren, cooking and gardening.  Member of New Hope UCC of Jackson.

Virginia is survived by her children Terry (Beni) of Grafton, Dennis (Aileen) of Tuscon, AZ, Kenneth (Rebecca) of West Bend, Doreen of Jackson, Peggy (Kenneth) Kruepke of Jackson, Donna (Steven) Wiedenfeld of Mukwanago and Darryl (Linda) of Hartford.  Further survived by her grandchildren Jeremy (Kristina) Kranz, Zachary Kranz, Kerry Kranz, Garrett Kranz, Matthew (Amy) Kranz, Marcus Kranz, Micah Kranz, Kyle (Angela) Kruepke, Kori (Kevin) Guillot, Nick Wiedenfeld, Tony Wiedenfeld, Monica Kranz, Hannah Kranz, great-grandchildren Julia and Jesse Kranz, Emily and Cameron Kranz, Marley Kruepke, sister Myra Brummond of Hartford, sister-in-law June Day of West Bend, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  Preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 45 years Eugene, twin sister Violet Hale and brother Merlin Birk.

A Funeral Service for Virginia will be on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at 10:00 am at New Hope United Church of Christ of Jackson with Rev. James Hill officiating.  Interment will be on Thursday, November 20 following the service.  Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 19 at the Phillip Funeral Home of West Bend from 4:00 pm to 8:00pm.
