Jerome A. Hottenroth Jr. “Jerry” of Allenton passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, September 29th, 2008 at the age of 77.  Born to the late Jerome and Marcella (nee Holz) Hottenroth Sr. on September 18th, 1931 in Colgate, WI.

Father of Pam (Greg) Grover, Sue (Mark) Naber, Cindy Hottenroth, Tony (Shelly) Hottenroth, Randy (Sandy) Hottenroth, Linda (Matt) Briggs, Rick Hottenroth and Laurie Anders; 16 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  He is further survived by a brother, Charles (Faye), sisters Mildred Winzek and Dorothy (Dave) Przybylski, 2 sisters in law Betty and Deborah, special friends, Ceil Kress and Emily Raush; other relatives and friends.  Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents, his son Todd, one brother Kenneth, a brother in law Richard Winzek and other close relatives.

Jerry honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.  On January 16th, 1954 he married Patricia Wolf of Richfield, who preceded him in death on October 5th, 2002.  Jerry retired from Zuerns Building Products after many years of dedicated service.  Jerry enjoyed going up north, gardening and working on his wood crafts.

A memorial service in honor of Jerry will take place on Sunday, October 12th, 2008 at 3:00 pm at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel (1420 W. Paradise Dr. West Bend, WI 53095).  Friends and family may visit from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 3:00 pm.  Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.  Memorial’s in Jerome’s memory are appreciated to the Kathy Hospice of West Bend.
